This objection handling training will show you exactly how to take your prospects from saying “I don’t have the money” to proactively thinking of creative ways to generate the money and possibly joining you on the spot.

So, you introduce someone to your business, they like what they see and get excited but then they give you the dreaded "You know, it's great but I just don't have the money..."

Before I knew how to handle this objection, I used to get really frustrated anytime anyone would tell me they had no money.

So I completely understand how frustrating this objection can be.

In this episode of Tanya Aliza TV, I’ll be showing you how to handle the no money objection with a very simple three step process that I use to be able to gently move my prospects past the money objection and straight to the next step in joining me in my business.

You can use this objection handling script and checklist when your prospecting so that when you get the no money objection you’ll be able to effortlessly help your prospects overcome this objection.

The moment I started learning the right objection handling training, I immediately learned how to handle the no money objection with posture and authority.

As a result, my prospects not only had a better experience with me during the sales process but also found creative ways to come up with the money and join my team.

My objection handling training is a simple, yet effective, process for handling the no money objection. It can be broken down into three steps:

1. Qualify
2. Plan
3. Schedule

I’m going to break these three steps down for you.

Objection Handling Training – Qualify the Objection

So, how exactly do we qualify an objection?

It’s super simple yet important that we qualify someone’s objection.

Let’s say your prospect say’s, “Everything looks great but I just don’t have the money".

Most people would just stop right there and say, “Oh okay, I understand” and take it at face value and never follow up with them again.

But the reality is that someone saying, “I don’t have the money” can mean many different things.

It could be that they don’t see an opportunity for themselves or maybe they don’t see the value in the opportunity and how it will serve their goals.

So, you want to make sure that you qualify the objection first to see if they actually don’t have the money or if they just don’t see the value in joining you.

You do this by asking:

“You know (prospects name) I can really appreciate you sharing with me that you don’t have the money, but let me ask you this…If you did have the money, would you be getting started with me today?"

Qualifying the objection in this way will save you both time, and it will help you get to the real issue, be it money or them not seeing the value in the opportunity for themselves.

You could also take it a step further and say, “Are you saying that you don’t have the money because you don’t see an opportunity here and you just don’t want to hurt my feelings or do you really not have the money to get started today?”

"Because if it is then that’s okay, I’m a big girl, you won’t hurt my feelings."

"I just want to make sure that if you do see an opportunity for yourself here and you really don’t have the money, then I don’t want that to hold you back because I can actually help you make a plan on how to get the money so that if you do see an opportunity here, we can help you take advantage of that."

So, that’s how you qualify the objection and it’s the first step and very important part of the 3-step process.

Objection Handling Training – Plan the Desired Outcome

The second step is to plan.

If someone tells you that they do see an opportunity for themselves but they really don’t have the money right then and there, then you’ll want to move them to step two which is to plan.

The goal of this step is to find a baseline of where the prospect is at and how much he/she needs in order to get started.

You do this by asking questions like, “How much money do we need to raise in order to get you started?”

If you ask these questions, your prospect will start to tell you where they’re at and you’ll be able to help them create a plan to help them find creative ways to come up with the money.

Once you have a baseline, you move towards creating a plan.

If there’s a monetary investment that stands in the way of your prospect being able to make a significant change in their life situation and you truly care about helping people, you’ll want to help them overcome that obstacle that’s holding them back.

An even more powerful strategy you can use is to tell a story of a prospect who’s been in a similar situation that they’re in.

And if you don’t have a story of your own yet, then feel free to share my story with your prospects.

I was once talking to a girl who saw a really great opportunity for herself with my business, but she didn’t have the total dollar amount to get started.

As I qualified her and then moved her into creating a plan for ways that she can come up with the money she got really creative.

She posted an ad in Craigslist for services that she could provide outside of someone’s home, and low and behold, she was able to get started and join me in my business in just a matter of days.

Here are some really great ideas that I’ve collected from what my prospects have actually done to come up with the money to join me in my business:

• Offer babysitting services to parents with young children
• Selling items on Ebay, Craigslist or Marketplace that you have sitting around the house that you don’t use
• Babysitting for pet owners
• Having a yard sale
• Getting a short-term loan from a friend or family member
• Hold a weekend Car Wash
• Offering handyman or domestic services you can actually do on Craigslist or by word of mouth

Once you come up with a couple of creative ideas to help raise some funds, you can move on to step three which is to Schedule.

Objection Handling Training – Set A Goal Date

This is actually the most important step of the process.

Now that you have a plan in place, create a specific time and date for them to get started in the business.

You have to plan a getting started goal date with them or else it will never happen.

I always share with them a quote by Tony Robbins which is “If you don’t plan it, it won’t become a reality".

Since I’m always looking for people with leadership qualities, I’ll take it a bit further and I recommend you do too.

This takes a bit of posture but I will challenge my prospect to try to come up with the money before our scheduled date and to call me, if they do so we can get them started sooner.

I challenge you to Boss Up and have more posture than you normally do with your prospects.

You don’t really know someone’s potential unless you give them a challenge. I’ve seen it time and time again where people can do more than what they think they can.

All of these objection handling training techniques work, if you have the right mindset.

Keep in mind that it all starts with you and your mindset. You need to be bold and have the necessary posture in order to help people. No one wants to follow or join someone who is weak and can’t help them get from where they are to where they want to be.

Your ability to help them before they join you in business will help them take you seriously and be confirmation for them that once they join you, you’ll be the leader that they can count on to coach them while they’re growing their business.

This objection handling training, if applied will not only help you grow a team faster but also turn you into the leader that you need to become in order for others to follow you and become leaders as well.
