Because this is one super powerful way to stir up more business and add an incredible amount of credibility to what you’re selling and promoting.
In this episode of Tanya Aliza TV, I’m going to share with you exactly how to interview your customers so it’s structured properly and helps you make a ton of sales.

This week since we’re talking about interviewing your happy customers on a Facebook or Instagram Live, I’m giving you for free My Ultimate Facebook Live Checklist so you know what to do BEFORE, DURING and AFTER a Live broadcast.
So in last week's Episode, I talked about the before and after journey in which you need to take your customer on so they can see the value in your business or products. You do this by getting good at painting a picture of what life is like before your products and what life will be like after they start using your products.
The best way to get good at doing this is by understanding what benefits your product or service does for people.
And one of the best ways to get that across is by interviewing people who have experienced the product or service.
But you might be thinking, "Tanya, I don’t have anybody right now who has had amazing results with my products or services yet."
Ok, I hear ya…but I’m here to tell you that small WINS matter and they’re more relatable to people than big audacious results that most people fear they will never be able to attain.
Just think about it…in a culture where all you hear about are these big wins and not the small steps people had to take one day at a time to get the results they have…it makes it less relatable.
But what I’ve found is that the small wins are worthy of shoutouts and they’re typically much more relatable than a big win that seems far out of reach.
It could be as simple as they loved the taste of your product, they have a little bit more energy now, they feel more confident etc…
It can be any small win that you can have them share in the form of an interview.
You want to broadcast these small wins to the world.
And one of the best ways to do this is on a Facebook Live. It can be on your profile, Facebook page, doesn’t matter.
Do the interview wherever you have the most people that can see your interview.
And then…what they share could be as simple as they loved the taste of your product, they have a little bit more energy now, they feel more confident etc…
Okay, now let’s dive into the 4 steps you’ll want to take to have a successful interview.
After you ask your happy customer if they can come out and share some small wins…make sure you prepare them ahead of time before you go live.
Prepare them by making sure they don’t share the name of the company, products or services.
Focus only on what the product does and it’s benefits instead of the name.
Because you don’t want people going out to Google to find your products or services and possibly buy them from somewhere else. You want them reaching out to you to get more info.
After all, generating sales through social media is the goal of these interviews.
You want to make sure that you ask them questions and get them doing most of the talking.
And encourage them to be vulnerable and relatable, if that’s something they are comfortable with.
Because being vulnerable is what helps people to relate to them and their experience.
Probe them with questions that help the viewers watching your interview understand what life was like before they started using the product or service.
So once they’ve shared what life was like before, you’ll want to ask them to share what life is like now after they started using your products or services.
Again, ask them to be vulnerable and real and stay away from hype.
Being hypey can be a big turn off for your viewers but being real is what will get those sale to come through.
We talk about this more in my Facebook Live Checklist but make sure you have a call to action.
It can go something like this, "Hey for those of you that are interested in getting more information on what we’re talking about…make sure you drop me a comment or send me a message and I’ll be more than happy to share more information with you."
If you don’t tell people what to do, they’ll do nothing.
It’s that simple.
Pro Tip - Plan these once a week or once a month and get on a regular schedule.
Happy customers are an asset so make sure you’re doing these interviews because they’ll definitely help you get more sales.
