Why learn how to build an online community for your business?
How would an extra 30% in revenue profits sound to you?
When I first learned the power of building online communities… my sales and revenue increased by about 30%.
That’s a lot.
Picture this for a minute… you don’t have an online community but maybe you’re posting things on social media and you’re putting in the efforts of doing some online or social media marketing.
Your prospects are seeing your posts and they may be liking or engaging with them.
Or maybe you’re doing videos or Facebook lives… but you don’t have an online community to put these people into.
So where do these people go and how the heck are you going to nurture a deeper relationship with them?
The answer is… you’re not!
Learn how to build an online community so you can leverage your social media efforts
Now picture this scenario instead… you DO have an online community and you have somewhere to invite the people that are engaging with your stuff too.
So you’re posting on social media and you’re doing maybe videos or Facebook lives and you have a call to action for people to come and learn more and become a part of your online community.
For example, something like a Facebook group.
Now inside that Facebook group, you’re posting good content, providing value and you’re making recommendations and suggestions for them to buy your products or services or join your business.
This is how you make a ton of extra sales and you don’t lose any opportunities with the efforts that you’re putting into your social media marketing.
Learn how to build an online community so you never run out of people to talk to
And think about this…think of your online community as an additional prospect list that is ever growing and never ending for your business.
Typically when I train on this topic I get A LOT of questions around it and I’m pretty sure you might have some questions around this topic too.
Here are the questions I get all the time:
✓How do I become that go to community that people actually want to be a part of?
✓How do I manage the online community so that I’m giving value and people are enjoying the environment?
✓How do I make sales through my recommendations and suggestions?
✓What do I post?
✓What do I talk about?

My best tips on how to build an online community that rocks
I’m going to share with you exactly how I do all of this so that my Facebook groups is always growing and bringing me new prospects and sales.
So here’s what you want to do:
How to build an online community Tip #1 – Write down who your best customer is
There’s a certain type of person out there that is especially perfect for your product, service, or business.
Write down an outline of details around the qualities and attributes this person has that makes them your perfect customer.
How to build an online community Tip #2 – Write down 10 things that you know are important to your customer
Make a list of at least 10 things that you know are important to your perfect customer that you outlined above.
If you don’t really know what’s important to them I’m going to share with you my secrets that help me with this.
Take a look at the industry that your product or service is in and let’s say for example, you have something that is related to the health and wellness industry.
Go to Google and type in health magazine or fitness magazine or nutrition magazine.
And you can do this with any business type of course.
And then after you’ve done that, you can click search and then you want to go to the top and filter your results to have it show you ONLY images.
And so what that will do is give you a bunch of images of the covers of the magazines that are in that industry that you indicated.
Now, if you think about it, these magazines have hired professional editors and copywriters.
Sometimes they pay them $10,000 or more to write some of the most captivating headlines and topics on the front cover of those magazines so that people are captivated enough to want to buy the magazine.
So that can give you an endless amount of topics that are important to your specific customer or target audience.
How to build an online community Tip #3 – Get familiar with the benefits of what your product or services
Write down 10 benefits that your product or service does for people and relate it to what you know is very important to them.
A lot of people get this wrong so I want to make sure you’re really clear on what this means.
The benefits of what your product or service does for people is very different from what your product is.
What it DOES for them entertains what’s really important to them.
So remember, it’s not what it is, but what it does.
You now have ideas of content that will serve your audience well and you can make recommendations and suggestions that lead to your products or services.
How to build an online community that’s fun and people enjoy being a part of
Now in the guide that I’m giving you with this episode, you’re going to see that we do specific theme days and we have fun with it.
And we also like to give our members prizes and gifts to really stand out and be a different community that gets members engaging and building relationships with each other because that’s the ultimate goal.
So for example we have Tuesday Tips, Thursday Tools, Wealth Wednesdays and so on and so forth.
We play with the day of the week and make it fun.
And then we encourage our members to invite their friends into the group, and when they do invite them, we give away prizes and we do drawings like coffee mugs and shirts as a way to thank them for spreading the word.
So when you go through that guide that you can download for free, you’re going to get some really good ideas on how we do that as well.
How to build an online community – In Closing
Now just think about this way, if you have a a group community that you’ve cultivated relationships and trust with…you now have a bunch of eyeballs that are eager to hear what you have to say and buy your stuff.
For example…when your company is running a promotion or a sale. Or when they release a new product.
Without that online community, you would not have that opportunity to go right into a group of hundreds or thousands of people and share that product or promotion that could really rev up your volume and sales.
So I hope you see the possibility for you and your business
BOSS TIP: Join a couple of other Facebook group communities or Instagram communities and look at what the group community owners are doing.
Maybe you can get some really good tips and ideas for your group community.
I know that’s how we’ve gotten a lot of tips and ideas for our group community.
