In this Episode, I’ll be sharing my best follow up training so you can re-spark your prospects interest in your business or products and close more sales.

I’ll be really transparent here – I’m not the biggest fan of follow up…

I don’t like feeling like I’m chasing people down to make a decision about joining my business or buying my products…

I’m guessing you either, right?

While I’d love to have all my prospects join me right on the spot…and who wouldn’t?

It’s really all about timing in our profession.

But for those prospects that you come across that are really good and you know they would be awesome in your business…follow-up will be key in getting them interested down the road.

In this Episode of Tanya Aliza TV, I’m going to give you 11 reasons or excuses to follow up with your prospect that said no initially and get them interested in your business.

Follow Up Training – Set up the follow up before the follow-up

Before you follow-up with a prospect after they’ve said they aren’t interested you’ll want to set up a follow-up before you actually follow-up with them.

So if someone say’s to me “No I’m not interested right now”…Here’s what I say:

“Okay no big deal John, I understand that the timing might not be right for you right now but do you mind if I keep you informed in the future?”

And that way your basically getting permission to follow up with them so when you do follow-up it won’t be weird for either one of you.

It’s really important that you do that first before you follow-up and set that expectation that you’ll be circling back around with them.

Now I’m going to share with you 11 reasons or excuses to get on the phone and follow up with the prospects who you think would be really good in your business but just need several exposures to really get them going.

Follow Up Training – You’ve earned your investment back

A big win in your business is when you earn your investment back.

This is definitely a great reason for those that have recently gotten started in their business to follow up with their prospects and share this with them.

Following up with them to let them know what you did and how simple it was will help them see that this is something that could work for them too.

Follow Up Training – Company incentives

A lot of companies put on contests and incentives so if you win one of these contests call up your prospect and let them know.

This could be a really exciting reason for them to get re-sparked into taking another look at your business.

Follow Up Training – Team Wins

Also, if someone on your team achieves a milestone or wins a contest…share it with your prospect.

This as well can be another powerful reason why they would want to take another look at your business.

Follow Up Training – You’ve learned something new, applied it and it WORKED

Most prospects don’t get started in business because they don’t know if it’s going to work for them…they just don’t have that belief or a reason to believe it’s going to work for them.

So when you go out and learn something new and you apply it and it works…go and share it with them.

This will help raise their belief level that your business is the real deal.

Follow Up Training – You need to approach your prospect the RIGHT way

This is for those of you who approached your prospect and did it all WRONG.

This can happen and it’s okay.

Call up your prospect and let them know you said all the WRONG things and that you learned how to approach people the right way and you’re really sorry for putting possibly making them feel uncomfortable.

But also, ask them if they allow you the opportunity to do it all over again…this time the right way.

Follow Up Training – New product release

Nothing more exciting than when your company launches a new product.

This is definitely a great reason to circle back around and share with them your new products.

Follow Up Training – New incentives

When your company does new incentives you should definitely let your prospects know.

This could motivate them to take a look and might get really interested in the new incentives your company is offering.

Follow Up Training – An event in their city

If there’s an event in their city call them up.

Let them know that they can take a close look at your company’s culture and get more information so they can make an informed decision about joining or not.

Follow Up Training – Your company is in the media or news

If your company or one of its products hits the news or media…share to with them.

This gives them social proof that your company or products are the real deal.

Follow Up Training – Their birthday

This is obviously a good reason to call your prospect…wish them a Happy Birthday and re-connect about your business.

Follow Up Training – Share a success story of someone who is just like them

When someone in your company or your team has a success story and they have some similarities with your prospect…call them up and share it with them.

They’ll be able to relate and see themselves in the same situation and get excited about your business.

Those are all 11 reasons to circle back around with your prospects but more importantly, you’ll need to know what to say to them…

Follow Up Training – In Closing

Timing is everything…and most prospects will say no initially.

However, that doesn’t mean they won’t ever join you or buy your products.

That’s why you need to first set up the follow with your prospect after they tell you they aren’t interested or else…it might be a little uncomfortable when you call them back out of the blue.

You do it in this order and you’ll get more sales and more people in your funnel to talk to about your product, business or services.
