Network Marketing Success Tips – Know Thyself

Before I answer this question, it’s important to first get a foundation on what’s important to you in a business.

Especially if you want to have a business that will be around for a long time.

The first step to doing this is to figure out what your core values are and what matters most to you in a business, service or product.

The people who are most confident and happy with the company and products they promote are less likely to entertain the idea of building a second network marketing business.

When you’re passionate about what you’re doing, you’re more likely to invest your time and energy into it.

Just think of the last time you woke up out of bed excited to get to work?

It’s a rare but amazing feeling when you love what you do every single day!

Most of us don’t wake up out of bed and decide we want to research a couple of network marketing companies and join one.

For most people, network marketing finds them through someone they know.

This is exactly what happened to me a couple of years ago and I built a pretty large team in a company that I later realized I wasn’t very passionate about.

I found myself at a crossroads and I had a really tough decision to make.

I ended up leaving the company. BUT it wasn’t easy, and this time around I did my research and aligned myself with a company that had the majority of the things that mattered most to me in a business.

Network Marketing Success Tips -Time and energy are finite resources

My initial response when someone asks me if they should build two network marketing companies is “NO.”

Why?

Because anyone who is actively building a business knows this: Time and energy are finite resources.

When you’re building a network marketing business you’ll need two things to get it started and to keep it going:

1. Energy
2. Time

And it will take all that you have to build just one business and take it to the level of success that you want.

It’s really hard to be in two places at once and most people underestimate the energy it takes to become successful in network marketing.

And also, remember that network marketing is a business of duplication and most of your team will do what you do.

If you spread yourself too thin, your team will think they need to do so as well.

Network Marketing Success Tips – The only time I would make an exception

I have seen one exception and it looks a bit different than how it would if you also wanted to build a team. I know a lady who owns a beauty salon and her clients always ask her for product recommendations.

She has products from two different network marketing companies that complement her client’s needs very well and sells them to her clients.

She has been successfully promoting these network marketing products to her clients and is earning a pretty nice income from the products that she sells.

With this type of situation, it makes sense to join two different network marketing companies.

However, if you’re going to build a team, I highly recommend you only focus on building one company.

That is of, course, if you want to see duplication and long lasting residual income coming from your business.

Network Marketing Success Tips - In closing

To build a large team in network marketing, you need to be fully aligned with a company that meets the needs that are most important to you in your business.

And you need to focus on building just that one business.

If you’re currently evaluating a business or you have a prospect that is evaluating your business, I created a chart and checklist called How To Choose The Best Network Marketing Business For YOUIt can help with the evaluation phase of choosing a network marketing company that aligns with your needs and values.
