I'm excited to share this network marketing training because it will help you easily transition conversations to business without feeling uncomfortable or salesy.

So…you just met someone either online or offline and you hit it off and you’re wanting to transition the conversation to your business, products or service…

However…you don’t want to feel like a walking salesperson or be disingenuous to the conversation and connection you just created with that person.

So how exactly do you transition the conversation without it being awkward or salesy?

In this Episode of Tanya Aliza TV, I’m going to share with you my favorite one-sentence script to help you transition a conversation about your business and products without coming across as weird or salesy.

This used to be one of the most difficult things I would run into when building my business…

I was really good at starting conversations and keeping them going but I struggled with transitioning them into business when I knew I was talking to someone that could potentially be interested in what I had to offer.

Now I’m going to share with you my favorite one-sentence script that I use to transition the conversation to business and works like crazy.

But before I do I want to share two things that you need to know first.

Network Marketing Training - You need to get really good at getting to the point

First thing is that you need to get really good at getting to the point.

You don’t want to spend too much time building rapport with someone before transitioning to business because then it will feel a bit icky and disingenuous.

No one wants to spend an entire hour talking to someone just to realize the point of the conversation was to present your business or products.

When you reach out to someone or you’re talking to someone you think would benefit from what you have…get to the point.

Network Marketing Training - Find a common ground or a genuine way to compliment your prospect

The second thing you need is to look for common ground or a way to compliment your prospect.

This takes some listening when the person is talking where you can identify some common ground or something about them that you can genuinely compliment them on.

Once you do that then use the sentence in some variation.

Network Marketing Training - My one line script to transition the conversation

So here is an example… Let’s say I’m talking to someone on Facebook messenger, Instagram or even in person.

I transition to saying:

"Hey listen, I absolutely love your _____________ (insert genuine compliment) for example 'your attitude’ 'your great taste in clothing’ 'your drive and tenacity’

The reason why I wanted to connect is... (insert your call to action)"

This works really well and you won’t feel icky and people will respect you for how easily you transition without them feeling icky either.

Obviously, there’s a couple of ways that you can lead with this.

Network Marketing Training - How to transition if you’re leading with the business

If you’re leading with the business use this example:

"The reason why I wanted to connect is that I have a business project that I'm working on that crossed my desk and it's gotten me super excited…There's an incredible opportunity here that I'm diving into and I have to ask:

If something crossed your path that got you as excited as this has gotten me and there was a way for us to possibly partner together on this where we could help a good deal of people and make some good additional income on the side, would you be open to taking a look at what it is?

I think you'd be super fun to partner with and I think this would be worth taking a look at!"

Then sometimes I will add a 3rd party story that could relate to that person like, for example, someone that has had financial success in my business that they could get excited about and relate to.

If you don’t know how to add 3rd party stories in your invite or to close your prospects, then check out a previous Episode that I did all about using 3rd party stories to get your prospects really excited to learn more about what you do.

This works really well because when you tell your prospect that it’s something we can do together it becomes less about just them or yourself but more of a team project that would be profitable and fun.

Network Marketing Training - How to transition if  you’re leading with the product

Now there’s also a way to transition the conversation, if you’re leading with the product.

So you would say something like this:

"Hey listen, I thought of you _____________ (insert a success story of someone that you know has had). I’d love the opportunity to share some info with you and see if this is something that you’d be interested in trying and giving me some feedback on….it would really mean a lot to me and it could help you a lot as well. I think you’d love it and I would love for you to take a look."

There’s different ways that you can say this but the most important thing here is to use a story. Sharing a story that they can relate to is the most powerful piece here.

Here are some key points you want to remember:

1. Get to the point fast…people respect the fact that you didn’t waste too much time in conversation when sharing your business, service or products.

2. Use this key sentence when transitioning the conversation - The reason why I wanted to connect is…

3. Get to the point…don't waste their time

4. Give a compliment
