If you have a great potential partner and you pay for them to get started, they won’t have skin in the game.
This is because most people when they get something for free they won’t put as much energy into using it as if it was something they paid for.
Network marketing has such a low cost to entry that most people don’t take it seriously.
If you look at the earning potential in network marketing which is in the millions vs the amount you need to put up front to get started…
It’s peanuts!
That’s why most network marketers don’t treat their business like a million-dollar business.
Just think of a brick and mortar franchise owner and the amount of money and time they have to put into their business.
It’s typically in the hundreds of thousands of dollars and the risk involved is HUGE.
This is why most people don’t value things when they are given to them and they don’t have to work hard to attain it.
Paying someone’s way into a network marketing business is not duplicatable and it’s not what you want for your business and teammates.
Think about it.
If your new teammate sees that you pay their way in, they’ll think they have to do the same.
If they didn’t have the money to get themselves started, how are they going to pay for someone else to get started?
This can actually backfire on you and isn’t a successful strategy, if you want to build a team of strong leaders.
