The reason why I was reluctant is I didn’t want to attract or even think about Covid being around so long.
But 6 months later here we are…building our business with Covid still around.
I was hoping this global pandemic wouldn’t be around as long as it has and so I’m doing this training for my business entrepreneurs to help them out with building their business.

All of these the tips I’m sharing with you here revolve around growing your business without leaving the house AND operating more professionally online, which is something that I’ve been doing anyways since 2010.
And I probably wouldn’t have it any other way.
Thank goodness I learned these a long time ago so that when COVID hit, I could still run my business from home while social distancing.
These tips will hopefully be valuable to you no matter if we’re building in or out of these hard times.
So let’s dive right in…
Business Survival Tips #1 – Don’t be a Debbie
Tip number one, don’t be A Debbie Downer.
People are already feeling really low because of all the stress, uncertainty and fear that’s surrounding us right now.
And some people when they turn on the news or log onto social media, will get bombarded by negative news only.
But what people need more than ever is something that will lift up their spirit.
As a marketer and as a business owner understand and know this and let’s contribute to a positive vibrational energy in our market space.
Focus on making people feel good…not worse than they’re already feeling.
Business Survival Tip #2 – It’s okay to embrace opportunity in tough times
If you’re in network marketing and you can recruit into a business opportunity, understand that now more than ever people need a business opportunity.
Don’t be scared to share that you have a business opportunity because of these times.
Right now, people need what you have and it may very well be the lifeline that helps them survive.
Business Survival Tip #3 – Don’t make assumptions
Don’t assume that people are desperate or in need.
It’s just rude.
I’ve had this happen where people I don’t know have sent me messages in my Messenger asking me if I’m in a low place in my life because of this whole situation.
And I’m like, “How rude of you to ask me if I’m at my lowest of low.”
Even if I was or wasn’t, that’s a rude way to approach this situation.
Even though people need a business opportunity right now, it’s rude to assume that they need it or that they’re in a desperate place.
The right way of doing it is to post inspiring type of things that will attract people to ask you for more information when they are ready.
Or you ca also do what I’m going to show you now in Tip #4
Business Survival Tip #4 – Share 3rd party stories
The most powerful way to attract more business to you is to share third party success stories on social media and any platform you use for your business.
It creates curiosity and interest in what it is that you’re doing.
It’s also is a really great indirect way to help people that are looking for an opportunity.
If you’re sharing stories about all of these people that are winning with your products, your services, or your business, a lot of them are going to start paying attention and they’re going to start commenting and later reaching out to you to get more information.
Business Survival Tip #5 – Contact everyone on your list
Tip number five is go back to your initial list of contacts.
Go back to all of the people that said no for whatever reason and circle back with them.
The reason why you want to do this is because times change, people change, and they might be open now more than ever and you don’t want to miss an opportunity if it exists.
Business Survival Tip #6 – Ask if they are open
Tip number six goes hand in hand with tip number five.
You need to ask. What I mean by this is that you have to reach out to your people and ask them if they are open.
If you don’t ask you’ll never know.
You might also add a third party story or a personal story that you can share before you ask them.
Just say, “Hey, I thought of you because I saw this comment in one of our Facebook groups and this person shared how this was able to provide them with this result and that got me thinking about you.”
“I just couldn’t help but circle back and ask you again if anything’s changed and if there is possibly an opportunity for us to work together. What do you think?”
It’s a friendly, supportive, and authentic approach, but you’re still being very direct and you’re asking.
Remember, if you use these tips with the business launch planner that I put together for you, you’re going to see incredible results and have some momentum happening in your business.
Use these times as the reason, not the excuse for why you can’t build your business.
