My Business Presentation Tips - #1 Analyze The Way You're Presenting

Do you get objections like:

“Is this a pyramid?”
“I’ll have to think about it.”
“I don’t have the money.”
“Let me talk to my spouse first.”

If you’re getting these objections repeatedly then your presenting in a way that people can’t see themselves duplicating.

Selling in network marketing is nothing like traditional sales. It doesn’t matter how smart or witty you are, if your process is complicated and grandma can’t duplicate it, then you won’t close any sales.

My Business Presentation Tips - #2 Leave The Fancy Stuff Behind

You may be tempted to impress your prospects by delivering a fancy well-polished effective business presentation. This was one of the biggest mistakes I made when I first got started in network marketing. Having been in sales at one point I was trained to put on a professional and polished demeanor when speaking to people.

While it worked at my sales job it certainly wasn’t working in my network marketing business.

This left me stumped and scratching my head trying to figure out why I couldn’t close anyone that had been through my presentation.

There are 2 very important keys to keep in mind when presenting your business:

1. You must understand what’s going on inside your prospects mind
2. You must do something that’s duplicatable

During a business presentation, your prospect is going through the psychological process in their mind of asking, “Is it simple, does it work and can I do it?”

Think about it, if you’re really professional and polished the prospect is looking at you thinking, “Holy crap she’s really good. I don’t think I can be that good.”

Or “It seems like you have to know a lot. I don’t have the time to learn all that.”

The end result is your prospect thinking, “I don’t think I can do this.”

If you make your business presentation as duplicatable as possible, you’ll experience a lot less resistance and objections from the people you present your business to.

So, take a good look at your process for sharing your presentation and make sure it’s simple and something people can realistically see themselves doing.

If you’re a network marketer, whether you realize it or not, the life or death of your business depends on your ability to present and close in a way that’s duplicatable.
