Closing the sale is typically where most people get hung up in the sales process.
I was talking to a new teammate of mine the other day and I asked her how everything was going.
She told me that she had about 20 people that were excited to make an order.
And it got me wondering, “Why hasn’t anyone ordered yet?”
So I asked her and she said, “Well, no one told me that they’re ready to order just yet”
This might have been my fault for not training her properly on how to ask for the sale.
And it got me thinking, what’s the number one reason why people don’t buy?
Simple…they don’t ASK for the sale.
In this episode of Tanya Aliza TV, I’m going to share with you how to close more prospects on social media when you have someone that’s interested in what it is that you’re doing or selling.
Closing The Sale – Use This 3 Part Script To Close More Sales On Social Media – Episode 203

Since we’re talking about how to close more sales on Social Media, I want to give you My Inviting, Presenting & Closing Like A Boss Scriptbook. It will help you get really good at Inviting, Presenting and Closing your prospects.
Once you master this formula that I’ve laid out in that script book, you’re going to get really excited because you’re going to see that it works and then you’re going to get excited to continue doing this process with your prospects.
Closing The Sale – My super simple process
I’m going to take you through the process I use to close more sales but you’re going to be a little skeptical at first because it looks super simple.
It is simple but it works so well you’re going to want to master it.
It consists of using them 3 questions that I ask once they’ve finished watching a business or product presentation.
Once somebody has finished watching your product presentation or your business presentation, you’re going to ask them three questions.
Let’s start with the first one…
Closing The Sale – Ask them what they liked best
If you ask them what they liked best, they’re going to tell you what they like best.
Don’t ask them if they liked it because if they didn’t like it they’re going to tell you all about what they didn’t like.
You want to know what they liked about what they saw so you can build off of that.
So very simple, after somebody has watched my product presentation or business presentation, I ask them what they liked best.
This will get them to first focus on the things they liked the most about the presentation.
Closing The Sale – Ask them if they see an opportunity for themselves
Once I’m done with he first question I ask them this question:
“Do you see an opportunity for yourself or do you see yourself using any of these products and trying them out and giving me great feedback? “
At this point you need to wait to see what they say before you can move into the 3rd question.
Some people might say yes while others may have some questions at this point.
But you need to make sure that you’re always leading the conversation into the next step.
You do this by always ending with a question. That’s how you control the conversation.
You don’t want to leave it open for your prospect to control the conversation.
Closing The Sale – Get your prospect started right away
So once they actually say yes or tell me more, or I have a couple of questions… I’ll just say…
“Great I’d love to show you how to get started. Is there anything else you need to know before we get you rocking and rolling with us?”
Basically, what I’m saying to them is, “If you have a couple of questions let’s get them knocked out and let’s get you started.”
But I’ve had tons of people tell me, “Hey Tanya, I’m ready to get started.”
And then I just walk them through the process of getting started.
Closing The Sale – Humble yourself to the process
I remember the first time I used this closing process and I was just getting familiar with using it.
I was talking to a prospect on the telephone because back then we used to do everything with phone calls.
So when it came time to ask for the sale it started to feel a bit uncomfortable for me.
I was leading the conversation and I said, “Great, is there anything else you need to know before we get you started?”
And I remember my prospect saying, “Nope.”
I was expecting objections or questions and they said, “No, I don’t need to know anything else, I’m ready to get started.”
And I was like, Okay… what do I do next?
It was a great experience but I really had to humble myself to this process.
This process works even if it looks too simple.
I promise if you follow it, it will help you close more sales when you’re talking to people and getting those people to make a decision with you.
Closing The Sale – In Closing
And one more thing I’m going to leave for you is my Beyond Objections Cheat Sheet and Audio download.
If somebody says, “I don’t have the money, I don’t have the time, I’m not sure if this will work for me or I have to talk to my spouse first.”
These are questions that you might get from your prospects and I want you to be equipped to be able to handle them so you’re able to overcome the objection and ask for the sale.
