Although 100K subscribers is a big deal, this was never my original goal when I came to YouTube to help me build my brand and business.
Today, I want to send out an immense amount of gratitude and love to all of you by sharing 3 VERY important lessons I’ve learned as a YouTuber and Social Media Coach that might get you thinking differently about your approach online when it comes to building your brand and business.

We all know that subscribers are absolutely awesome, but when it comes to building your business, the most important thing to remember is that it has to profit.
This is why I want to share with you the 3 Important Lessons I Learned As A Youtuber and social media influencer.
It’s not about how many followers or subscribers you have in your world or on social media.
If you look at my channel, you might notice or even say that I have a relatively smaller subscriber base than other big YouTuber names and Influencers.
However, after talking to some of these influencers (some even having millions of followers), I realize that I have a significantly higher income than those with a bigger following and fan base than I do.
How? I literally made it my goal to get leads and make sales with my videos rather than focus on getting more subscribers.
All my content is constructed in a certain way to serve that goal - Get leads. Make sales.
I know this is hard to do on social media, especially with YouTube where they’re always doing suggested videos and in-stream ads all over the place.
When I came into YouTube, my main goal was not to make revenue on advertisements.
I went on YouTube because I wanted to get more exposure for my brand, my business, and my products.
I wanted to put myself in front of the right people that my products and services could help.
So wherever you are on social media - you have to make your priority leads and sales. You have to keep your people in your world.
This is why I still don’t run ads on my YouTube videos.
I may be losing a little bit on Ad revenue, but I’m gaining so much more in an important area in my world and business. By turning off the monetization feature on my YouTube videos, I am able to keep my audience in my world and content.
I am able to present my products and services which will generate so much more revenue for my business than ads will.
Success doesn’t happen overnight and on top of that you have to have absolutely ruthless efforts in consistency.
When I decided that I was going to be consistent with my YouTube channel and episodes, I produced episodes that helped my audience every single week.
For at least 12 to 24 months, come up with one episode every single week that helps your audience.
During this time, you have to put your focus on the activity and not the results.
I know this sounds crazy, but think of it as pushing a snowball up a hill.
It’s going to be hard and slow. However, that snowball is slowly getting bigger and once it crests the top of the hill you cannot stop it.
Because of this ruthless consistency and patience to get to where it is I want to go, my subscriber base continuously grows.
I have hundreds of episodes launched on the channel that are working for me 24 hours a day, seven days a week, even while I’m sleeping and even if I take a break or a vacation.
Okay, so I hope this episode was helpful in getting you to think differently about your approach online when it comes to building your brand and business.
The truth is that you can’t grow a 6-figure business when you don’t utilize your social media platforms effectively to bring in revenue.
You’ll need to focus on your profits, keep your people in your world, and you have to be patient.
Do not get tired of being ruthlessly consistent.
